The first time that I read this book I was somewhat surprised by its content but yet challenged by many insights into my personal life. The second read, I put my highlighter and pen to the pages of the areas that had challenged me; to go back and research these writings, both Biblical and mentioned websites, and to search my own life to discover "why I do the things I do". I may have to read this Genuine book one more time. Those of all ages, grandparent, parents and teenagers can certainly benefit from these pages. I have found this book to be Scripturally sound and most insightful. Are you up for the challenge?
While not a recommendation for juvenile readers - this a thoughtful & well written take on modern life, raising a family & navigating through the mine-fields that abound in society today. Using the bible (many references) as a baseline - Mr. Bosarge navigates well with specific examples pertaining to a (mostly) Southern exposure.
I recommend this book for the youth & parents as they go through times they might deem difficult and searching for their Genuine self & find help in Bible verses.
